10 More Days!

I just looked at "Days Until" app on my iphone - it says I have 10 days until baby McClure arrives! We so excited to meet him! 

Here is a sneak peak of him at a 4D ultra sound we had done at 30 weeks. He would not move his hand from his face, that's what the blur on the right side of his face is. Most of the time he had his thumb in his mouth, it was pretty cute. 

I showed this to my brother in law, who is a doctor and he immediately started telling Kent and I which features he got from me and which features he got from Kent. He said he has my ears since the lobes are connected, it looked like he got Kent's nose because mine has no curve - Kent's does. 

When the ultrasound tech first got his image up, I told her that he had a pug nose! She said that was doubtful because 4D ultra sounds always make the nose look bigger than it actually us because the nose is what is closest to the ultrasound wand.

We also got a 30 minute DVD of 4D ultrasound session. It was amazing to see him sucking his thumb, getting a drink of amniotic fluid (yum!) and moving all around. I think that the DVD was even more special than the pictures. It really opened up my eyes to the fact that he is already functioning just like a newborn outside the womb.
